- On April 8th, you have a date with Tourism of Madrid and IAA Spain: The countdown is already underway: only one week left for our meeting with tourism from the Madrid City Council and IAA Spain. Abigail Sigüenza, Director of Strategic Marketing at Madrid Destino, will present the first virtual assistant created by a tourism office, marking a true revolution in the visitor experience through intelligent personalization. You will learn how technology redefines the interaction between tourists and cities, creating more personalized and efficient experiences, adapted to the expectations of the modern traveler. The afternoon schedule is as follows:

- CIMA will organize the Professional Conference on April 24th and 25th at the Cineteca Madrid. Under the slogan “United for an equal, diverse, and violence-free audiovisual industry,” the meeting seeks to create a space for debate and reflection on cinema and the audiovisual sector from a gender perspective. The first day will focus on addressing sexual violence and abuses of power in the industry, through round tables, presentations, and group dynamics. The second day will be dedicated to audiovisual creation from a gender and intersectional perspective, highlighting the importance of including diverse views and realities in audiovisual narratives. - LIA 2025 offers a 25% discount until June 10th. To benefit from this early bird discount, all registrations must be finalized and paid before June 10th. Invoices that have not been paid before June 10th or that require modifications (e.g., media upload, credits, or other changes) will be re-invoiced at the full registration price. Standard fees will apply from June 11th until the registration system closes. LIA never charges late fees or fees for uploading files. The winners will be announced on November 4th.
- “The Edge of Perfection”: The seventh edition of Rio2C will be held from May 27th to June 1st, 2025, at the Cidade das Artes in Rio de Janeiro. This event, the largest for creativity in Latin America, will bring together experts in technology, culture, science, and business, addressing trends in audiovisual, music, fashion, and new technologies. This year, Rio2C proposes to analyze them from the “pursuit of perfection.” It will feature figures such as Esther García (El Deseo), directors Boni and Boninho, designers like Bella Freud, musicians like Lulu Santos, and experts like Mario Novello. In addition, its market segment will facilitate strategic meetings and pitching sessions with more than 480 executives and investors. More information on their web.
