22 January: FITUR Screen 2025
TheSpain Film Commission is organising, together with IFEMA Madrid, the presentation of FITUR Screen 2025 and the presentation of the ‘Ambassadors of the Year’ award. The event will be held on 22 January at 12:30h in Pavilion 10A15 at FITUR.
FITUR Screen 2025 will bring together prominent national and international leaders and references to demonstrate how the filming industry transforms the perception of tourist destinations, generating global interest and contributing directly to local economies.
This year, the section will have a greater international projection and a programme enriched with activities and lectures. enriched with activities and presentations on the latest trends in screen tourism, collaboration actions between different destinations screen tourism, collaboration actions between different destinations and the use of innovative technologies for the promotion of innovative technologies for the promotion of tourist locations and enclaves.

23 January: Last days to register for the National Creativity Awards.
January 23rd will be the last day to upload all the materials of the pieces entered in this edition. Don’t be left out!
The best pieces will be part of the XXVI Spanish Creativity Yearbook and will be included in the online archive of the c de c, consolidating their place in the history of creativity. These awards recognise the work of agencies, advertisers, creatives, students, production companies and young creatives.

28 January: 1st Audiovisual Investment Forum focused on equity and long-term debt financing – Clúster Audiovisual de Madrid.
The Madrid Audiovisual Cluster, in collaboration with CaixaBank and CREA SGR, is holding the First Madrid Audiovisual Investment Forum in an exclusive day to explore the possibilities of long-term financing in the sector. The Forum programme will be available soon. It will take place on 28 January from 09:30 to 14h at CaixaBank All in One (Plaza de Colón, 1).
Virginia Mosquera chairs the Spanish jury of the Gerety Awards
The Gerety Awards 2025 are taking shape and have already announced a large part of the list of chairpersons of their executive jury. This year there will be 15 jury sessions: New York, Toronto, London, Paris, Eastern Europe, SEA (Southeast Asia), Düsseldorf, Madrid, Milan, LATAM, Melbourne, MEA (Middle East & Africa), Los Angeles, Tokyo, and São Paulo. In Spain, Virginia Mosquera will be in charge of chairing it.
