Eventérate: Register for the Advertising Film Production Activities at the Málaga Festival

We tell you the program of the event in detail and present the bootcamp of the Miami Ad School Madrid and the III International Feature Film Showcase “Cinema por Mulleres” of A Coruña.

APCP presents a complete itinerary of presentations and activities of the VII Advertising Film Production Activities, which will take place within the framework of the Málaga Festival. This action reflects the Association’s effort to promote, disseminate and boost the sector in our country, focusing once again on the city of Málaga. They will begin on March 18 with a scouting tour of the city, organized together with the Málaga Film Office, and will culminate on March 19, at the Teatro Echegaray with various presentations on advertising film production, its relationship with fiction and the influence of AI and new technologies:

  • 10:00h – Inauguration: Opening of the event and welcome by representatives of the APCP and local authorities with the presentation of the Association’s new branding, the agreement with the Spain Film Commission and the presentation of the filming data in Málaga.
  • 10:20 h – The future is now / Metropolitana: How AI has transformed post-production processes.” Presented by Ramón Arteman, director of Metropolitana. More information.
  • 11:05h – Case study 1 / Somos5: Health, technology and creativity: the formula that conquered Cannes. When ideas improve people’s lives. Presented by Jonatan Andrés, executive producer. More information.
  • 11:50h – Case study 2 / Grayskull: “Good vs Evil” and the day our minds exploded.” Presented by Daniel Monedero, executive producer. More information.
  • 12:35h – We are not only advertising / Palma Pictures: Rewriting the script. How we made the leap to fiction. Presented by Yousaf Bokhari, head of film and TV production. More information.
  • 13:20h – Roundtable: Let’s talk about fiction and advertising. The creative processes in audiovisual projects. Participants: Cristóbal Garrido, screenwriter and creator; and Diego Núñez Irigoyen, director. Moderated by Luna Esquerdo, executive producer and partner of Bambina. More information.

  • March 12 to 30: III International Feature Film Showcase “Cinema por Mulleres”: The event will be held from March 12 to 30, 2025, highlighting films directed by women. The city of A Coruña is preparing for the third edition of the showcase, organized by the Concello da Coruña in commemoration of International Women’s Day. The action seeks to highlight the work of female directors in the film industry through a selection of 20 recent feature films, with 13 of them having their commercial premiere in the city. The screenings will take place at the Cantones Cines with tickets at 4.50 euros and discounts available for certain groups. In addition to the screenings, the program includes complementary activities. On March 12, at the Centro Sociocultural Ágora, a roundtable discussion will be held titled “Galicia: We also produce feature films,” with the participation of prominent professionals from the Galician audiovisual sector. The showcase is sponsored by Sidras Maeloc, reaffirming its commitment to the visibility of women in cinema.

  • March 31 – Miami Ad School Madrid: The school announces a special 20% discount on its “Artificial Intelligence for Creativity and Brands” course, a pioneering program that integrates Artificial Intelligence into brand building from creative, technological, and business perspectives. The course, which begins on March 31 and lasts for seven weeks, will be taught in live online mode (OnLive) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The bootcamp is structured in blocks designed to apply Artificial Intelligence in creativity and brand building.
