- The VIII edition of FITUR Screen will be held from January 21 to 23, 2026, consolidating itself as a key space for promoting screen tourism and the meeting between the audiovisual and tourism industries. The event is organized in collaboration with Spain Film Commission and reinforces the role of audiovisual productions as a driver for territorial promotion and economic development. FITUR Screen will have its own space that will include an exhibition area, a B2B zone, and a complete conference program, designed to foster collaboration between institutions, production companies, and sector agents. - Gerety Awards has opened registration for its 2026 edition, reaffirming its position as one of the benchmark international competitions in the evaluation of creativity from a strategic, demanding, and craft-focused perspective. The award maintains its differential criteria, valuing ideas for their creative power, the quality of their execution, and their capacity to elevate industry standards, beyond format or discipline. The 2026 edition will feature an international Grand Jury composed of founders, creative leaders, and brand and media executives, who provide a current and diverse vision of creative leadership. With this new call for entries, Gerety Awards once again focuses on those ideas that drive the future of advertising globally. Early bird registration is open until March 13. - The Festival de Málaga has opened the call for Málaga Work in Progress, an event aimed at Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American projects, which will celebrate its ninth edition from March 10 to 13, 2026 within MAFIZ, the festival’s industry zone. Málaga WIP aims to support the financing, completion, and distribution of films in the post-production phase. Registration will be open until January 15, 2026 through the MAFIZ website, and the selected projects will be announced in February.
- The Club de Creatividad (c de c) opened registration for the 2026 National Creativity Awards, which recognize the best ideas developed in Spain and will culminate on April 17 and 18 with the Día C gala, at the Kursaal in San Sebastián. The edition maintains its seven sections and incorporates new categories such as Best Use of AI, Content Creators, and Data Visualization, reflecting the evolution of the sector. The competition will be chaired by Eva Conesa and will feature a multidisciplinary and equal-representation jury. From APCP, we highlight the presence of two members on the Grand Jury: Jorge Llama (The Production Club) and Pablo García Acón (Roma Production House).
