
The Malaga Festival kicks off, where APCP will land in less than a week. c de c and other events you can’t miss are approaching.
- The APCP lands in Malaga on March 18th to kick off the VII Advertising Film Production Activities with the traditional scouting alongside its production companies and the Malaga Film Office. This is a warm-up for the conferences that will be held at the Echegaray Theatre on the morning of March 19th. Register and check the complete program here.
- Today marks the start of the 28th edition of the Malaga Festival, which will last until March 23rd. Once again, the Costa del Sol becomes the epicenter of national and international cinema with an extensive program that can be enjoyed in various locations throughout the city. - On March 20th at 4:00 PM, the Solidarity Space of the Malaga Film Festival hosts the premiere of “Overwhelmed”, a short film made by students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences under the direction of Professor Penélope Martín. A story that gives voice to grief and mental health in collaboration with the Alhelí Association. Don’t miss it and join the conversation about grief and prevention.
- Día C 2025 is approaching! Organized by the c de c, it will be held on March 21st and 22nd at the Kursaal in Donostia-San Sebastian. During these two days, leading professionals from the sector will share their vision on creativity and collaboration. Friday the 21st will feature presentations such as Laia Grassi on artificial intelligence, a presentation of VICIO with its founders, and a talk on advertising with Ricardo Llavador, Miquel Caimary, and Carito Kanashiro. There will also be a workshop with Brenda Cohen on body expression and an interview with Fito Páez conducted by Matías Dumont. Saturday the 22nd will begin with a special of Julia en la Onda with Julia Otero and Francisco Vaquero, followed by a conversation between Minerva Piquero and Francisco Vaquero. Then, Remedios Zafra will talk about the future of creative work, Isabelita Virtual will be interviewed by Pepa Rojo, and the event will close with an intervention by Hernán Casciari.
- The 39th edition of El Sol Ibero-American Advertising Communication Festival El Sol will be held on May 29th and 30th, 2025 in Malaga. Already established as a meeting place for professionals in the sector, with the aim of highlighting creativity as an engine of transformation and business. The Festival jury will be made up of leading professionals from the advertising sector, from agencies, production companies, and advertisers from Spain and Latin America. The president will be Tomás Ostiglia, Executive Creative Director of LOLA MullenLowe, and will include the participation of experts from various areas and countries, such as Spain, Argentina, Mexico, the United States, and more. The evaluation process will be carried out in two phases: first online to select the shortlist and then in Malaga to define the winners.
- The Foro Industria Madrid 2025, organized by RAMPA and the Festival Cine por Mujeres Madrid, has received 35 Work In Progress from Spanish female directors from 8 autonomous communities, with 1 animation project, 9 fiction films, and 25 documentaries. A committee of experts, formed by Elena Manrique, Florencia Caset Alfonso, and Diego Mas Trelles, selected 7 feature films to present in the pitching sessions on April 10th, followed by individual meetings with professionals on April 11th. On the same day, in the afternoon, there will be a Master Class by Mariela Besuievsky open to the public and the awards ceremony, which includes discounts on equipment rental, color correction, access to music libraries, subtitling, and mentoring from associations such as CIMA, AMA, and MIA.
- The registration deadline for the AMP Awards 2025 has been extended to today, March 14th. The Association of Music Producers (AMP), an organization dedicated to the defense of music and sound creators for media, is celebrating a new edition of the prestigious AMP Awards 2025. The ceremony will take place on May 21st, 2025, at Sony Hall, New York, and will recognize the talent of professionals in the sector. To participate in this edition, today is the last day to register pieces.
