  • The Industry Forum of RAMPA and Cine por Mujeres concludes today with a master class open to the public and an awards ceremony. The Industry Forum: Matchmaking Madrid 2025 Days, an initiative of RAMPA – Open Network of Women Professionals in Audiovisuals – and the Cine por Mujeres Madrid Festival, which has brought together leading film professionals for two days to promote the visibility and development of Spanish female directors, concludes at Sala Alcalá 31 in Madrid. After the pitching sessions and one-on-one meetings held yesterday with industry experts, this afternoon it opens to the public with a free master class entitled “I have a feature film project… Now what?”, by the renowned producer Mariela Besuievsky. The event will close with the awards ceremony for the participating projects, awarded by collaborating associations and companies. The forum’s call received 35 work in progress projects from 11 provinces and 8 autonomous communities, reflecting a notable territorial and cinematographic genre diversity.

  • The II edition of the Shot Awards was held at the Yelmo Luxury Palafox Cinema in Madrid. These awards, organised by 014 Media, Cinerama and Periódico PublicidAD, recognise the best commercials screened in cinemas during 2025. In the ‘Best Jury Spot’ category, the Gold went to ‘A story of progress’ by Bankinter, created by the agencies Havas Media and Sioux meet Cyranos; the Silver went to ‘Live as if nobody knew you’ by Seagram’s, by the agencies iProspect and China; and the Bronze went to ‘The world’ by Ecoembes, developed by &Ròsas and iProspect. Adriana Piquet, general director of the Association of Advertising Film Producers (APCP), was part of the jury for this edition.

 

  • LIA announces the jury presidents for 2025. London International Awards (LIA) opens the registration period for its 40th edition. This year, 18 jury presidents will preside over 30 categories at Encore @ Wynn, Las Vegas, to set the standard of excellence for creativity in 2025. Among this year’s Jury Presidents is Linda Cronin, Executive Vice President of Global Media Communications at Monks, who will chair the inaugural Creativity in Media competition. As a show created for creatives, the Creativity in Media jury will seek to reward work that raises standards in the context of media, where inspiring media ideas and innovative channels take center stage.
