1. Five days for FOCUS 2023: networking, meetings and much more
FOCUS 2023 is being held at the Business Design Centre London on November 5-6. Professionals from the creative display industries can apply for a delegate badge for free. This will include over 60 free content sessions: presentations, masterclasses, workshops… from over 150 professional speakers from film, TV, advertising, games and XR.
In addition, you will have access to the Show Floor to learn about filming incentives and production solutions for all types and levels of projects. You will be able to meet with exhibiting companies: Film Commissions, production services, film-freindly locations, tech. solutions and much more.
On the other hand, the possibility of networking through advanced access to the FOCUS platform is still open. In this way, meetings can be scheduled in advance at the fair.

2. The Malaga Festival announces its audiovisual creation grants for the eleventh time!
The Malaga Festival will give grants to projects for the production of short action, animation or documentary films with a maximum duration of 30 minutes and free theme. The objective is to encourage and stimulate audiovisual creation in Malaga. The grants are of variable amount, determined in each case by the technical jury constituted for this purpose, with a maximum amount per selected project of 6,000 euros and a total amount, at most, of 50,000 euros for the year 2024.
Both individuals, without age limit, who were born, live, study or work in the province of Malaga, as well as companies and professionals of the audiovisual sector whose fiscal domicile is located in the province of Malaga, may participate in this call. Each participant may submit a maximum of two projects in this call. The selected projects will be advised by a technical jury through a project mentoring aimed at improving and adjusting these proposals to the requirements of the call.
The selected projects will be announced at the next Malaga Festival (March 1-10, 2024). The audiovisuals resulting from this call will be included in a special section of the program of the 28th Malaga Festival, which will take place in 2025. Projects should be sent to the email address ayudas@malagaprocultura.com with the following subject: Ayudas a la Creación Audiovisual 2024 / Title of the project.
The deadline for the submission of projects for the production of short films is February 2.

3. Entries for the National Creativity Awards are now open for entries
The c de c has opened the registration period for the National Creativity Awards 2024. In this edition, projects created and/or disseminated in Spain between January 2023 and the closing date for entries can be submitted.
There have been changes in this edition and new features have been incorporated into the sections of STRATEGY, IDEAS, CONTENT, INNOVATION and CRAFT. There are also new categories.
In STRATEGY, the low-budget category has been created, designed for campaigns whose production and dissemination does not exceed 200,000 euros.
In IDEAS, the categories of Public Services and Official Bodies and Non-profit Associations and Foundations and NGOs are differentiated. Political parties.
In CONTENT, the categories have been renewed reflecting the current needs of the campaigns: audiovisual, sound, editorial, experiential and interactive digital.

The jury will be announced soon. The winning pieces will be announced during the gala to be held in San Sebastian on April 13, 2024.
4. Registration for The One Show 2024 now open
What is The One Show?
The One Show is an international advertising and design competition and the “Gold Pencil” is considered a very important award within the creative industry. The competition has a legacy of recognizing some of the most innovative ideas, created by some of the most remarkable minds in creativity.
For the upcoming 2024 edition, they have added new categories across all disciplines. Among other things, they are also introducing the “Best of Non-Profit” award to recognize great work done for non-profit clients.
