A. 11 June Gerety Awards: Bambina Films, producer of the year!
The Gerety Awards Spain executive jury met this week in Madrid to select the global shortlist and the Spanish Agency & Production Company of the Year. Among the women on the jury is María Jesús Horcajuelo, president of APCP and CEO of production company Only925.
Before revealing the Gerety 2024 finalists on 11 June and prior to the panel moderated by Mujeres a Seguir, Gerety reveals the awards for the festival’s Spanish Agency & Production Company of the Year.
The Spanish Production company of the year award goes to Bambina Films.
About the award Marta Vega commented ‘Thanks to Gerety and the jury for this award, we are very happy for this award. The agency Sioux & Cyranos wins the Spanish Agency of the Year award.
Speaking about the award, María López Chicheri commented ‘Thank you Gerety for awarding us the prize for the best Spanish agency of the year, thank you for doing it for the second year in a row and thank you for having the most beautiful trophy of all the festivals, which we wear with great pride in our offices. We will try to keep up the level to continue filling all the corners with diamonds”.
*The Gerety Awards Country Agency and Production Company of the Year awards are presented by the local executive juries of the festival venues to the campaigns entered in the Portfolio CUT category with a single reel, no longer than 5 minutes, which includes 3 campaigns produced in the last 12 months.
The Spanish Production Company of the Year award goes to Bambina Films for its campaigns CLUB ATLÉTICO DE MADRID – ‘Taxi’, J&B – ‘MI GRAN NOCHE’ and PIKOLIN – ‘6:29’.
The Spanish Agency of the Year award goes to Sioux & Cyranos for campaigns for Bankinter, Movistar and Telepizza.
This week the Gerety Jury Insights panels will take place where part of the executive jury from this year’s host countries will comment on their favourite campaigns and trends seen in the different sessions around the world. This is the link to join.

The Best!n Beauty 2024 awards are back for another year. A unique meeting to attend the Marketing Summit, awards ceremony and cocktail of the Best!N Beauty&Care 2024. These are the Marketing Awards for the beauty, perfumery, drugstore and hygiene sector organised by Best Awards.
Next Thursday 13th June, the Marketing Summit and the awards ceremony of the 2024 edition of these awards will be held at the Mediapro Barcelona Auditorium (Av. Diagonal, 177, Sant Martí, 08018).

D. 17 October Inspirational Awards: Enjoy a discount until July 19
IAB Spain’s Inspirational’24 to be held in Madrid from 15 to 17 October has a deadline for registration and discounted categories until 19 June. After that, until 16 September at 23:59h the registration period will remain open through its website. Register your pieces!
There are 19 categories to be awarded, which will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards if the jury deems it appropriate, including four new ones this year:
- Best Creative Use of Artificial Intelligence

Inspirational’24 will be held in a hybrid format, with conferences in person and broadcast via streaming from the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid on 15 and 16 October. The evening lectures will be virtual. The event will include diverse topics such as Content & Connected Media, AI & Data, Digital Business, Entertainment & Gaming, Next & Innovation, and Retail Media & Ecommerce. The Awards Gala will take place on 17 October at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, with live streaming on IAB Spain’s YouTube channel. The gala will count with the collaboration of several industry associations and will culminate with a cocktail and closing party.
We would like to highlight that both Iván Franco (Founder & Producer at Zissou) and Miguel Escribano (Executive Producer at Harold Entertainment) are members of this year’s online jury.
