B. National Creativity Awards: only four days to go before the closing date for entries

On Monday, January 22, the entries for the National Creativity Awards 2024 will close. In which we have already told you that there were many news.

The pieces awarded with metals, special mentions and the Grand Prize will be part of the XXV Yearbook of Spanish Creativity. The awards gala will take place at the Kursaal in Donostia / San Sebastian on April 13.
C. Countdown to Fitur Screen 2024
Fitur Screen will take place on January 24, 25 and 26 in Pavilion 10. Organized by Spain Film Commission together with IFEMA MADRID, this is the IV edition of the event.
During the meeting, there will be three round tables on screen tourism trends, a powerful tourism promotion tool for territories that have been filming locations to highlight their differentiation and visibility.
On January 25, the round table “Screen tourism, an international consumer trend” will take place. While on January 26 there will be two others: “Film buff travelers or traveling film buffs?” and “Film shoots, the best promotional campaign for a destination”.
This year they want to highlight a key point in the program and that is the SPAIN SCREEN GRAND TOUR project. A “national project of tourist information on destinations that have hosted film shoots, series, documentaries, video clips, etc.”
D. Young Directors Awards: The new edition is here!
We are pleased to announce that the Young Directors Awards, organized in association with Shots, is now accepting nominations for its 27th edition.
In this new edition, Medb Riordan, will be the Chairman of the jury. The YDA 2024 call for entries is officially open, providing a platform for the next generation of directors to showcase their exceptional talent. Under the guidance of Jury President Medb Riordan https://www.youngdirectoraward.com/yda-announces-2024-jury-chair/page/1/ (CEO and Partner of Academy Films) and the international jury, this year promises much.
President Francois Chilot shares his advice for young aspiring filmmakers submitting their work: “Give priority to storytelling, imagination and fiction! Maintaining our imaginative spirit guarantees future progress and evolution. To excel, young filmmakers must master their ability to creatively translate ideas into their own work of art. Be ambitious, harness your imagination and direct compelling stories.”
