-How did the Spanish audiovisual production industry survive the pandemic and how is it today?

-At first it was a shock, but at the same time we were the first to react and to have a COVID protocol that allowed us to go out and shoot. Today we believe we have overcome it, especially with the current changes in the COVID 19 restrictions. Indoor masks are no longer obligatory and many restrictions that our protocol had will be eliminated. The shadow of the war in Ukraine, price increases and many other war-related obstacles are always looming.

-What possibilities does the new Law on Cinema and Audiovisual Communication in Spain open up and how do you think it will influence advertising production?

-With regard to this law, I can say that we have presented the allegations so that we can be considered as promotional audiovisual work and be eligible for a tax incentive for the production service.

-How are the communication platforms affecting the sector after the pandemic?

-Our sector has generated more business with the platforms, it is a new category of advertiser.

-What issues are still pending for production companies in Spain?

-Entering into the modifications that we have proposed to the new Law on Cinema and Communication. Implement the new model of contract, briefing and production design for national productions that we have agreed with the Association of Advertisers and Agencies of Spain.

-What are the Association’s objectives for this year?

-To increase the visibility of our sector in the international industry. To implement the new model of contract, briefing and production design for national productions that we have agreed with the Association of Advertisers and Agencies of Spain. Continue our good relationship and communication with public institutions. Promote transparency, create a school and a quarry. To regulate and improve permits in all the Autonomous Communities and to ensure the success of our event “Advertising Film Production Conference” which we will be holding this year from 29th to 30th September in the city of Valencia.
