Miguel Ángel Furones will be recognised with the c de c de Honor 2023, an award granted posthumously by the Club de Creativos. The former worldwide creative director of Leo Burnett Worldwide, president of Publicis Iberia and honorary president of the same Group since 2018, passed away last April 2021 at the age of 71, after a long career in the advertising sector.
With this award, the organisation wishes to recognise his multifaceted professional career and especially his extraordinary work in favour of Spanish creativity and his recognition on an international scale, thanks to the different global positions he held in different agencies. Some of them pioneering, such as when he became the first Spanish worldwide creative director of a network, Leo Burnett. His love of creativity, of creating a school and training creatives have also been fundamental in his choice.
