We have a new partner in the APCP: Palma Pictures. We are celebrating because the Association and the production companies continue to grow in a upwardly sector.
Palma Pictures was founded back in 1993 by Ola Holmgren and his wife Grete, focusing on the Scandinavian commercials sector. Palma Pictures quickly attracted a steady stream of advertising agencies and film companies, and in 2000 we moved from Palma’s old town to a purpose-built studio complex in Marratxí.
28 years later, Palma Pictures continues to guarantee high-quality content capture, providing end-to-end production service across mainland Spain and the Balearic and Canary Islands. They have serviced over 2000 commercials and over 25 feature films and television series for clients in over 35 countries with the help of our team of International Producers.
They employ over 45 full-time staff drawn from over 10 different countries, all of whom speak Spanish and English (plus a range of different languages), and they regularly work with expert freelancers across Spain. They have a production office in Barcelona which supports their shoots on the mainland, in addition to their studio complex in Mallorca.
Although they work throughout Spain including the Canary Islands and obviously in the Balearic Islands (where the company was born).
In Palma Pictures they have everything in house such as casting, locations, their own catering, camera equipment, grip, lighting, location support, trucks and even a set with more than 1,000m2. Welcome Palma Pictures!
