Did you know: The Gerety Awards announce their global executive jury for 2026: 15 cities, a single standard of creative excellence

By March 5, 2026 News No Comments

The organization presents the international collective of creative industry leaders who will participate in the evaluation of the campaigns that will set the standard for creativity in 2026 and will define the shortlist.

From strategists and creative directors to producers, filmmakers, brand leaders, and social media specialists, the jury represents the spectrum of the communication sector, reflecting the diverse perspectives that the Gerety Awards set out to champion since its inception.

The executive jury sessions will take place in London, Auckland, Toronto, New York, Paris, Stockholm, Hong Kong, Dubai, Madrid, Milan, Mexico City, Bangkok, Los Angeles, Berlin, and São Paulo. Each session brings together influential regional voices who understand how work resonates locally, while collectively contributing to a global creative standard.

Alejandra Chacón, Head of Strategy and Insights Havas Media Network, Spain commented: “Being the president of the Gerety jury in Spain for me means contributing to keeping the flame of hope alive. The hope for a more egalitarian and better world, at a time when we might think it is a battle of the past. It means giving visibility to female talent through a group of women jurors with rich and successful careers. Giving their voice and their vote in the selection of the best advertising campaigns worldwide. It means incorporating the perspective of women into an industry where, unfortunately, the juries are not parity-based, nor is their position within the direction of the creative departments. It is an honor for me to be part of this group of women jurors, in Spain and of the Gerety jury community worldwide, and to confirm that here we are, here we continue, and here we will remain.”

More than 260 jurors from 50 countries will participate in the 2026 Gerety Awards. The members of the executive jury for Madrid who will accompany Alejandra are:

  • Elena García Menéndez, Founder and Creative Chairwoman, Hellend
  • Cristina Alonso del Río, Creative Director, LLYC
  • Mari Vázquez Gómez, CCO, Dentsu Creative Spain
