Last December 16, 2025, Her Majesty the Queen presided over the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Fad Juventud, focused on digital safety for minors, a key issue to protect children and youth in digital environments. The Queen was accompanied by the president of Fad Juventud, José Ignacio Goirigolzarri, other trustees, and María Jesús Horcajuelo, president of APCP (Association of Advertising Film Producers and Post-producers), who is part of the foundation’s Board of Trustees and reinforces the association’s collaboration with Fad Juventud in promoting responsible initiatives for new generations.

During the event, held at the headquarters of Meta in Spain, Fad Juventud presented its institutional position on digital rights and protection of minors, which proposes a balance between safety and autonomy, including parental accompaniment based on dialogue, progressive digital autonomy, and ethical training for content creators. Likewise, measures were discussed to prohibit personalized advertising aimed at minors, promote the harmonization of European legislation, and guarantee the active participation of children and adolescents in the development of digital policies that affect them.

Following the meeting, the Queen participated in a dialogue on the challenges of digital safety with representatives of Incibe‑CERT, Intef, and the Permanent Representation of Spain to the EU, moderated by journalist Carlos Franganillo, highlighting the complexity of protecting minors in a digital environment increasingly present in their lives.

The participation of APCP in the Board of Trustees of Fad Juventud reinforces its commitment to the protection of new generations and the promotion of responsible policies, as well as to collaboration in initiatives that foster digital safety and technological education for young people, ensuring they can operate safely and ethically in the digital world.
