The Gerety Awards, the festival that brings together a 100% female jury to select the best of advertising from a powerful perspective, reveals this year’s finalists along with the Agency and Production Company of the Year awards by country.
Some of the Spanish campaigns on the shortlist include Big Bang for Mamma Team’s Linea Directa, The Hidden Drug for LLYC’s Más Democracia, A Step In Time for Edelman’s Alexion Pharmaceuticals and Ready Player Mom for MRM’s Enterogermina.
Gema Arias, Chief Creative Strategy Officer of Kitchen and ambassador of the Madrid jury commented: “The Gerety Awards were no surprise for me, I mean, I knew that the selection of women with great careers, talent and future were a guarantee of what we live. An enriching voting session, with divergent opinions, with criteria, a lot of criteria, respect and passion for what we do. I hope that this edition will serve as a demonstration that it is not difficult to make an equal jury, we made it complete and without any professional repeating. We don’t lack talent, we lack opportunities to put it at the forefront”.
The executive jury sessions took place around the world during the last two weeks and this week the Gerety Jury Insights panels take place with juries from Romania, USA, England, Germany, Colombia, Spain, Sweden, India and Australia/New Zealand.
