The Cannes Lions Festival kicked off on Monday, June 17. In it, APCP was living firsthand the news of the industry.

In this edition of Cannes Lions, APCP was a sponsor of LBB Friends and Beach located in Croisette Beach. On the beach, from June 17-21, we had our own place to meet, invite clients, have fun and make new business contacts. We were able to attend thanks to the collaboration of aea, Blur, c de c, Cuchara de Palo, EPC, Fight Films, Grayskull, Kinolux, Ladoble, Landia, Nevada, Premios Efikacia, Primo, Rims Mobility, Scopen and TwentyfourSeven, who joined us during the week in this space! In addition, we attended the various presentations and debates that LBB organized, where very interesting topics on the current state and the future of this industry were discussed.
On Tuesday, June 18, we participated once again in the VIP BQQ organized by the Gerety Awards, where we celebrated the announcement of its global shortlist and the winners of Agency and Production Company of the Year by country. This year the award for the best production company of the year in Spain went to Bambina Films, and we were there to celebrate!
On Wednesday, June 19, we participated in The World Producers Summit, an exclusive gathering of industry leaders.
This event was a unique opportunity for producers from around the world to discuss the business of production and the opportunities and threats of each market.
Spain was represented by APCP with María Jesús Horcajuelo, president; Nico Cabuche, board member and CFP Europe representative; and Adriana Piquet, general manager.
During these days, we have also held interesting meetings with the Ibero-American industry.
We also attended the screening of the winners of the Young Director Awards. These awards support and promote international creative talent and are dedicated exclusively to young emerging filmmakers.
Today, Friday June 21, in the morning we had a meeting with aea and Scopen in which we discussed some of the important issues of the sector.
