A final stretch of the season marked by major international awards and recognition for the production company’s work, with special mention for No Project Without Drama by Lope Serrano.
CANADA closed the year reaffirming its position as one of the most solid and recognized production companies on the international scene. In recent months, several of their works have been awarded prizes at some of the industry’s most relevant festivals, with special prominence for their campaigns for Hornbach and LYNX/AXE, two projects that have garnered awards at Vimeo Staff Picks, Epica Awards, and Eurobest.
One of the most notable milestones came from No project without drama for Hornbach, with the piece directed by Lope Serrano, which was recognized as ‘Best Branded Video of the Year’ in the Vimeo Staff Picks. This award celebrates creative excellence in the field of branded content globally.
The same project made a strong showing at the Epica Awards, where it won the Grand Prix de Film, in addition to an impressive list of accolades that includes:
- Gold in Cinematography & Production Design
- Gold in Products & Service
- Gold in Best Use of Music
- Silver in Direction
- Silver in Retail Services
- Shortlist in Copywriting & Storytelling
Adding to these recognitions are the excellent results obtained at Eurobest, where CANADA once again demonstrated its versatility and creative reach. The work for LYNX/AXE – Catnip achieved two Golds in Social & Creator and Brand Experience & Activation, along with a Bronze in Best Film. Furthermore, LYNX/AXE – Long Lasting was awarded a Bronze in Best Film and was shortlisted in Consumer Goods.
In the case of Hornbach – No Project Without Drama, the recognition was especially broad and transversal, with a Gold in Direction, Bronzes in Editing and Sound Design, and several Shortlists in categories such as Cinematography, Production Design, Achievement in Production, TV Cinema Film, and Travel, Leisure, Retail, Restaurants & Fast Food Chains.
A year-end close that confirms CANADA’s excellent momentum and its ability to combine direction, production, and craft at the highest level, consolidating its presence in major festivals and strengthening its international projection.
