The production company will be present at the San Sebastian Festival with ‘La Causa del accidente que provocó el incendio’, a short film promoted by ICEX.
It is a short film directed by Lope Serrano, with the participation of great actors such as Berta Prieto, Bárbara Lennie, Juan Antonio Bayona, or Miguel Herrán.
In this captivating fiction project made with the aim of promoting and consolidating the talent of the entire Spanish audiovisual sector, we see how the protagonist Berta Prieto investigates the cause of her character’s accident, during a filming in which fire is used to build her narrative as a metaphor for the creative flame.
The main objective of the spot is to promote the recognition and image of Spanish audiovisual productions in the eyes of professional foreign audiences. In order to achieve the commercialisation of national productions, and thus generate an increase in global business opportunities.
This campaign by CANADA, a production company member of the APCP, was promoted by ICEX (España Exportación e Inversiones), a public business entity founded in 1982 as the National Institute for the Promotion of Exports. With the aim of highlighting the talent, creativity and excellence of professionals in the sector.
