The APCP and the prestigious international competition join forces in Valencia to inspire new generations of directors
This year, the XIII Advertising Film Production and Post-production Festival welcomes a luxury guest: the Young Director Award (YDA), the international program that has been promoting the careers of new talents in audiovisual direction since 1998. This collaboration marks a milestone for the sector in Spain, opening a direct door between the national creative community and one of the most influential showcases in the world.
During the meeting in Valencia, the president and founder of YDA, François Chilot, will present the project in a talk moderated by Ingrid Bragemann, the competition’s ambassador in Spain and Latin America. Together, they will share the YDA’s mission: to discover, train, and project young directors onto the international scene, a philosophy that the APCP fully shares in its constant commitment to emerging talent and the development of independent production.
This alliance reinforces the role of the APCP Conference as a platform for learning, inspiration, and connection between creative generations. The presence of the YDA represents an exceptional opportunity for students, young filmmakers, and new talents who seek to make their way in global advertising cinema and turn their ideas into recognized projects beyond our borders.
With this collaboration, the APCP consolidates its mission to build bridges between the Spanish industry and major international initiatives, reaffirming that the future of advertising cinema lies in empowering those who are still taking their first steps, but already dream big. Students, universities, schools, or teachers interested in attending can purchase their tickets by contacting entradas@apcp.es to manage the discount and not miss this opportunity.
