The first day of the workshop culminates with the presentation of the VIII APCP Awards within the framework of the XII Commercial Film Production and Postproduction Workshop. Discover the winners!
Topacio Fresh was responsible for presenting this eighth edition of the APCP awards, giving way to the Association’s Director General, Adriana Piquet, who explained what the first APCP Honorary Award consisted of. After this, Adriana invited former presidents Miki Heras, Manuel García, Albert Soler and María Jesús Horcajuelo to come up on stage. It was a memorable and emotional moment in which Jose Manuel García Albuerne, the first president of the APCP and founding partner of LEE, was remembered and presented with the Honorary Award. The professionals recalled his impeccable legacy and their commitment to continuing his unmistakable legacy.
After introducing all the event’s sponsors and collaborators, the names of the award winners were announced.
AWARDS:
The day continued with the recognition of the best talents in advertising cinema, with the award going to Carlos Font and Bernat Udina, who took the prize for Mejor Montador.
Next, the award for Mejor Postproductora de Imagen was presented to Metropolitana, for its impeccable post-production work. And, along the same lines, La Panadería was honored as Mejor Postproductora de Sonido.
The ceremony also recognized, with the Premio Magda to Mejor Colorista, Marc Morató. The presentation continued to the Técnicos category, where Toni Mir was awarded as Mejor Técnico de Sonido and Álvaro Monge was highlighted as Mejor Dibujante de Shooting Board. The award for Mejor Técnico SFX went to César Alcaide.
For her part, Gabriela Arosa was distinguished as Mejor Runner and the recognition for Mejor Catering went to Viper’s.
Regarding Mejor Maquillaje y Peluquería, the award went to Sara Herraiz and Penny Century received the prize for Mejor Estilista.
The Mejores Técnicos were also awarded in various areas: Ander Zubiri as Mejor Técnico en Departamento de Localización; Lane Casting, with the recognition for Mejor Director de Casting; and, César Martínez as Mejor Técnico en Departamento de Arte.
In the Técnicos de Producción section, the award for Mejor Técnico en Departamento de Eléctricos y Maquinistas went to Pedro Sanchez. Carlos Gómez, was awarded as Mejor Técnico en Departamento de Cámaras; and, Claudia Mayer, recognized as Mejor Técnico en Departamento de Producción–
On the other hand, Pedro Luque was honored as Mejor Director de Fotografía and Borja Leyva was awarded as Mejor Ayudante de Dirección. Finally, Lope Serrano received the recognition for Mejor Realizador.
In the field of administración y gestión pública, the award for Mejor Administración Pública went to the Oficina de Rodajes del Ayuntamiento de Madrid.
Regarding the award for Mejor Producer de Agencia, it went to Isa Gálvez, while &Rosàs was recognized as Mejor Agencia.
The Mejor Anunciante was Cupra, and, finally, La Causa del Accidente que Provocó el Incendio, produced by ICEX and CANADA, was honored as Mejor Producción del Año. This last award was collected by Alba Barneda and Lope Serrano from CANADA, together with Elisa Carbonell, CEO of ICEX Spain, who had previously stated in her presentation that this piece is ‘a tribute to craftsmanship and that they will continue to do more to make these things happen’.
