The 2+1 modality consists of the presentation of a case study, where an international project that has served as inspiration and two of our own outstanding projects are presented. In this opportunity, we tell you about the case study of the production company Grayskull which, through Daniel Monedero, will not leave you immune: Good vs Evil and the day our heads exploded.
It is impossible not to remember the 1996 Nike advert ‘Good vs Evil’, one of the most influential adverts in advertising, and which will be the starting point for this round table, as an international project that has served as an inspiration proposed by Grayskull. While we will have the opportunity to analyse and address two huge international projects of the Spanish production company ‘Call of the Kings’ Six King Slam ( 2024) and ‘Going all the way’ Tinder ( 2023).
Grayskull, an audiovisual production company founded in 2015, has been producing national and international commercials ever since. The essence of Grayskull has always been its commitment to directors of the highest creative level who, over the years, have built a brand based on talent. Based in Barcelona, the production company has a global image and impact that has led it to establish ties with clients, agencies and production companies from all over the world.Daniel Monedero, who in 2015, in search of new challenges and greater creative freedom, founded the production company Grayskull in Barcelona together with Jesús Álamo, collaborating with prominent directors such as Los Pérez and Augusto de Fraga. He began his professional career in 1998 in the production department of the advertising agency Tiempo BBDO.Over the years, he gained experience in other agencies such as Grey Trace Barcelona and Publicis Casadevall Pedreño, where he specialised in the production of television commercials, working together with the creative teams. In 2003, he joined RCR Films as executive producer, a position he held until 2014, leading the production department and supervising advertising campaigns both nationally and internationally, until he founded his own production company.
