APCP Festival. Another small favour: Let’s update!

A round table on trends, to focus on how we produce today; with Marta Tous, Leo Solanes, Vito Reig, Javier Gómez Blanzaco and Jonatan Andres.

If anything has changed in these times, it is the way in which technologies have permeated our daily lives, and in the case of our sector, it is unquestionable. Both in social aspects, who produces? For whom? As well as formal aspects; then, in this context, the question that brings us to this round table arises: how do we produce today?

With the participation of references such as Marta Tous (TousTous & Suot Art Director)Leo Solanes (Director and producer of Solanes), the first and only woman to receive a Golden Lion at Cannes [this is also a sign of current affairs], she will talk about how she made a niche for herself on an international level to stand out as the director of Beauty, Vito Reig (Executive Creative Director McCann), will give us details about the L’Oréal case, and Javier Gómez Blanzaco (Creative Director of El Corte Inglés), will tell us about the innovation he was responsible for at El Corte Inglés, and Jonatan Andres (Executive Producer Somos5), will participate as moderator.

Meet them!

Vito Reig

Executive Creative Director of McCann

Creative by birth. Mother of two daughters, Petra and Manuela, aged 20 and 14, her lifeline. Married for more than 23 years, she still laughs. She grew up in agencies where creativity was the only language.Surrounded by creatives who were also strategists. A real school. Before she turned 40, she decided to shake up her career and start from scratch. Once again a creative exercise, Mosquito in Alaska was born: a fashion design project for children from 0 to 8 years old. Design and creativity that from the first collection was able to attract the editorial world, Vogue, Vanidad, Neo2. After 6 years he returned to advertising, the fault? An agency with the power of attraction of Mccann and a project he can’t give up. During all these years he has been adding new experiences, among others, being Master in Digital Management by HyperIsland, one of the most prestigious schools in Europe. His career is full of challenges; his latest challenge? To take MAPFRE to the top. A brand in the most difficult categories in the industry, 20 awards, including 2 Grand Prix at the Ojo de Iberoamérica and the Genio Awards, a Silver Lion at Cannes and, best of all, the pride of having managed to do what you do with a single dogma: to be authentic.

Javier Gómez Blanzaco

Creative Director El Corte Inglés

Currently executive creative director of El Corte Inglés. He began his professional career as an art director in advertising agencies. He decided to learn more about communication from another side, with the client, and started working in the in house advertising department of El Corte Inglés. After all these years of craft, of working side by side in the in house creative department of El Corte Inglés, of collaborating with agencies and production companies, he says that there is nothing more important than writing one’s own story; in fact the great success of El Corte Inglés in Spain is to have developed a clearly recognisable style of its own. In that sense, he reflects that brand communication should not stop being brave but neither should it become something that does not represent it and that will never be credible to its own audience. Degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Complutense University of Madrid. Executive Master in Advertising Agency Management from the University of Nebrija (Madrid) and the IAA (International Advertising Association). Postgraduate degree in digital marketing from IE.
