Last Tuesday, June 25, APCP was at the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Fad Juventud, chaired by Her Majesty the Queen, unanimously appointed José Ignacio Goirigolzarri, current president of CaixaBank, as the new president of the entity.
Goirigolzarri’s appointment follows the death of Ignacio Bayón on May 3, who had held the presidency of Fad Juventud since 2015 and to whom a heartfelt tribute has been paid in the framework of the Board of Trustees headed by Her Majesty the Queen.
At the meeting of the Board of Trustees, the Foundation’s Strategic Plan 2025-2027 has been presented, which reafirms its commitment to improving the welfare and quality of life of young people.
The results of the “Formando equipo” project that Fad Juventud and Netflix have been developing since 2022 have also been presented. This pioneering program has been designed to develop new talents in the field of audiovisual production, offering F.P. students practical and theoretical training that will provide them with new job opportunities.
After the meeting of the Board of Trustees, Her Majesty the Queen paid a visit to the Netflix Production Center and attended a colloquium – moderated by Diego Ávalos, Netflix’s vice president of content for Spain, Portugal and Nordic countries – with creators who are benchmarks in the audiovisual production scene in our country: Miguel Sáez, Gema Neira, Aitor Gabilondo and Emma Lustres.
