Inés Segura, is Partner / MD of Blur and this year is part of the jury of El Sol Festival. Festival that is being held now, between May 30 and 31.
The evaluation has been a two-stage process. The first, conducted online, selected the finalist campaigns. The second, which took place in person in Malaga, decided the winners.
The jury group is made up of prominent professionals from various communication disciplines, with trajectories in the Spanish and Latin American market. This is the jury:
Entries 2024
This year, close to 30% of the entries are from LATAM. Argentina, once again this year, is the Latin American country with the most entries in the festival, followed by the United States, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Guatemala and Bolivia. In this 38th edition, the “Media” and “Sales Activation” categories stand out, where entries have increased by almost 20% and 10%, respectively.
“Film,” “Production,” “Digital and Mobile,” “Sales Activation” and “Exterior” are the categories with the highest participation in this edition. The new “Health” category, introduced this year, attracted 60 entries, highlighting the growing interest in specialized communication in the sector.
The festival continues to support young talent with the “Young Creatives” section, which this year recorded a 10% increase in entries. Thus, the jury of the 38th edition of El Sol will have judged more than 1,200 pieces.
El Sol maintains its essence and continues to focus on celebrating and promoting courageous creativity that transforms brands, businesses and influences society.
All the winners will be announced today at the gala that will begin at 18.30 at the Cervantes Theater.
