The APCP was present as a partner of the gathering, accompanying associated companies, award winners, and sponsors in an evening dedicated to championing the human value behind great ideas
Madrid shone this week with the celebration of the Gerety Cocktail 2025, an event that brought together key industry figures to celebrate imagination at a time when algorithms seem to be gaining ground. The studios of Dra. House—also the main sponsor of our XIII APCP Conference—hosted winners, juries, partners, and friends of the festival in a night that combined reflection, inspiration, and collective celebration.
The panel “Magic, mystery, and creativity in the age of algorithms”, moderated by Virginia Mosquera (CCO of Wooman), opened an essential debate on how to maintain the human essence, intuition, and creative risk in an increasingly automated environment. Among the speakers was Matías Dumont, CEO & Founder of Antiestático, one of our associated production companies; along with Ana Martín García, Valeria Silva Carreño, Nerea Cierco, and Daniel Terzagui, the latter, co-founder of Dra. House. The session made it clear that protecting the human spark in creativity is more necessary now than ever.
The evening continued celebrating the Spanish winners of the Gerety Awards 2025, where several of our associated production companies were honored with international recognition. Among them:
- Primo, distinguished as Spanish Production Company of the Year.
- Antiestático, also awarded this edition with two Silvers in Direction and Production design for Scandinavian Airlines with its spot Breaking Glass.
- CANADA, which added a Silver in Craft Cut – Direction for The Cause of The Accident That Caused The Fire for ICEX / Audiovisual from Spain.
- Grayskull, recognized with Silver in Craft Cut – Visual Effects for its work on Call of The Kings for Riyadh Season.
From the APCP, we want to especially thank Dra. House for opening its doors for this celebration, as well as Más Mujeres Creativas, Ketchum, and Tracks & Fields for joining the gathering. For us, as an association partner of the event, it has been a source of pride to be part of a night that enhances the role of our production and post-production companies within the international scene.
The Gerety Awards, created in honor of Frances Gerety—author of the iconic “A diamond is forever”—, continue to set new benchmarks in the industry and promote essential conversations about the future of the sector through its Gerety Talks series. A night we remember with pride and one that underscores the importance of continuing to defend the vision, soul, and human ingenuity in every project.
