  • IPMARK once again puts the spotlight on the advertising film industry.

On 27 June, APCP attended the Producers’ Colloquium organised by IPMARK. The media, organiser of events such as the Best! Awards and El Chupete, brought together production companies and agencies to, among other things, take stock of the first year of ratification of the Audiovisual Advertising Production Procedure, the result of the agreement between APCP, ACT and the Spanish Association of Advertisers.

In this way, the degree of acceptance-adoption of the document of good practices, which seeks to provide transparency and security in the activity, was known first-hand.

Special attention was paid to article 20 of the contract agreed by the three parties, and whose obligatory compliance would also affect agencies and advertisers who are not members of the aforementioned associations.

They also discussed issues such as the evolution of advertising production after the pandemic period, the promotion of Spain as a centre with international projection within the advertising film industry, and talent: does the talent crisis also affect production companies? And what about AI…?

  • General Assembly of the “Clúster Audiovisual de Madrid”.

On Monday 26th June.e attended the first extraordinary general assembly of the association “Clúster Audiovisual de Madrid” which took place in the assembly hall of the Madrid City Hall located in Príncipe de Vergara 140.

In this assembly the incorporation of the APCP (Association of Advertising Film Producers) among other new associates was approved, as well as the constitution of memberships and the appointment of those responsible for them.

We are very happy to belong to the cluster and to contribute our grain of sand to the industrial fabric.

  • We attended the meeting of the Fad Youth Board of Trustees.

As members of the Fad Board of Trustees, María Jesús Horcajuelo (President of APCP), attended the presentation of a study on young people and video games. The study, entitled “Video games and young people: places, experiences and tensions”, was chaired by HM the Queen and has provided interesting data to get to know the industry in depth and the impact it has on the new generations.

Some of the key points of the study were:

“8 out of 10 young people aged between 15 and 29 in Spain play video games: 84.5% of boys and 69.7% of girls”.
“It is an activity that is incorporated very early in their lives as a form of leisure, before the age of ten. Most of those who play dedicate more than three hours a day to this activity”.

Held in the Telefónica District, the meeting also analysed some of the actions carried out by Fad, such as the “Open the door to their digital world” campaign, and also presented new proposals focused on the prevention of hate speech.
