The Spanish entertainment and media industry is projected to grow at an annual rate of 2.7% until 2029, primarily driven by digital advertising and connected TV.
According to the latest Entertainment & Media Outlook Spain report by PwC, if these forecasts hold, the sector will reach a turnover exceeding 45 billion euros by the end of the period.
The study highlights the strategic role of Internet advertising, which is expected to grow at an average annual rate of 6.5%, increasing from 5.047 billion euros in 2025 to 6.915 billion in 2029. Connected TV will play a particularly prominent role, with advertising investment set to increase by 10.2% annually, reaching 1.95 billion euros, consolidating its position as one of the formats with the highest growth potential.
This scenario reinforces the transformation of the advertising ecosystem towards increasingly digital, data-driven, and personalization-oriented environments, with Artificial Intelligence as a key element for optimizing creative processes, media planning, and results measurement.
For the advertising production sector, these forecasts open up new opportunities linked to the development of content for digital platforms, hybrid formats, and new audiovisual environments, within a context marked by innovation, efficiency, and competitiveness.
From APCP, we view this data very positively, as it confirms the central role of advertising as an economic and creative driver.
