Festivals from all over the world are starting to open their submissions for their upcoming 2026 editions, from the ADC Annual Awards to the PHNX Awards, as well as the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest and the European Film Market.
- On 22 January, AMKT and McCann will hold CRAFTIVENESS at Forbes House (Madrid), an exclusive event presenting a pioneering study on how production quality drives real communication effectiveness and brand and business results. The event will include a round table discussion on the strategic role of craft in effectiveness, featuring Adriana Piquet, Managing Director of APCP, alongside other leading figures in the sector. - The Art Directors Club announced the opening of submissions for the ADC 105th Annual Awards, celebrating 105 years of recognizing international creative excellence in disciplines ranging from advertising and design to architecture, gaming, and illustration. The 2026 edition features the campaign “Create a Beautiful Future,” developed by Dentsu Inc. - The European Film Market (EFM), one of the main international markets for the audiovisual industry, will be held from February 11 to 18, 2026 in Berlin, within the framework of the Berlin International Film Festival. The event brings together production companies, distributors, sales agents, and professionals in the sector to generate business, co-production, and financing opportunities, and is a key meeting point for detecting trends and projects with international projection. - The Atlàntida Mallorca Film Fest (AMFF) 2026 opens the call for its official section, inviting production companies and filmmakers to submit fiction or non-fiction feature films that dialogue with the dilemmas and pulses of the new generations, with prizes that include up to €10,000 and opportunities for visibility on the big screen and online. The 16th edition of the festival will be held from July 24 to August 2, 2026 in Mallorca and its digital version will be available on Filmin until August 24, with submissions open until February 28, 2026.
