Did you know: Digitalization redefines production logistics. Ryanair eliminates paper

Our partner, Travelproducers, reports a key logistical change affecting shoots: starting today, access to Ryanair flights is exclusively digital.

In audiovisual production, time is the most valuable resource. A delay at an airport, over what seems like a minor detail, can disrupt an entire shooting schedule. That is why our strategic partner, Travelproducers by Bestours, is sharing a crucial logistical update.

As of today, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, Ryanair will no longer accept printed paper boarding passes, operating exclusively with the digital version accessible via the airline’s app.

This decision, driven by digitalization and sustainability (nearly 80% of its passengers already used the digital format), has a direct impact on managing travel for production teams.

Although some exceptions remain (such as in Moroccan airports or specific flights from Tirana), this change requires production companies to ensure all staff have access to the app and sufficient battery on their devices.

Travelproducers reminds us that as the industry evolves, their job is to anticipate and manage these changes so that crews arrive “on time for the shoot, the event, or the location,” avoiding unforeseen issues. A reminder that in the digital age, expert logistics management is more important than ever.
