María Jesús Horcajuelo, president of the APCP, and Tono Franco, director of Visit València, open this thirteenth edition of the conference
The Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia opens its doors to formally welcome attendees to the 13th edition of the Advertising Film Production and Post-Production Festival.
Under the slogan ‘Let’s keep making it happen’, María Jesús Horcajuelo, president of the APCP, opened the first day by thanking all the Valencian institutions that have made this edition possible, thus kicking off the reunion of a sector that is consolidating itself with each challenge.
In addition, the president recalled the difficulties experienced a year ago in the province of Valencia and stated that ‘last year we came with heavy hearts, and it is a pleasure and a source of pride that this year Valencia is once again giving us the opportunity to be here’.
The opening ceremony also featured Tono Franco, director of Visit València, who highlighted Valencia as a privileged setting offering a variety of ideal locations for advertising productions.
The director also emphasised that the advertising audiovisual industry is strategic due to its enormous capacity to convey image and also economy.
This inauguration kicked off the 13th edition of the APCP Commercial Film Workshop, two days designed to share knowledge, recognise talent and project the future of Spanish audiovisual production and post-production.
