CANADA
CANADA once again places itself in the elite of international production thanks to the numerous nominations obtained in two of the most relevant festivals in the industry: the Ciclope Festival 2025, which celebrates excellence in advertising craft, and The Shark Awards, which recognizes the best in film craft.
In the Ciclope shortlist, CANADA has achieved a prominent place with “Telefónica – Neuron,” directed by Nicolás Méndez, a finalist in Direction 60 Seconds and Under. Added to this are the multiple nominations for “ICEX – The Cause of The Accident That Started The Fire,” signed by Lope Serrano, which competes in Direction Over 120 Seconds, Ideas Over 120 Seconds, and Editing Over 120 Seconds.
For its part, “Hornbach – No Project Without Drama,” also by Lope Serrano alongside Tempomedia, has garnered up to five nominations: Direction Over 120 Seconds, Ideas Over 120 Seconds, Production Design, Editing Over 120 Seconds, Original Music, and Sound Design.
In parallel, The Shark Awards have recognized CANADA’s talent with a solid number of nominations. “The Cause of The Accident That Started The Fire” is once again a protagonist with shortlists in Best Storytelling Direction, Best Direction, and Best Writing/Idea. The piece “OVO – Power Struggle,” directed by Réalité, competes in Best Art Direction/Production Design, Best Direction, and Best Sound Design. And “Hornbach – No Project Without Drama” adds new candidacies in Household, Garden & Pets, Best Art Direction/Production Design, Best Direction, and Best Editing.
These recognitions confirm the ability of CANADA and its directors to make a difference in the international panorama, elevating the name of our associated production company and the Spanish industry to the highest creative and technical level.
