CANADA, Somos5 and Antiestático triumph in international competitions with awards recognizing creativity, innovation, and social commitment

CANADA celebrates new international recognitions

Our associate production company CANADA has once again shined on the international scene with two prestigious recognitions. On one hand, Réalité won the Best Director award at Berlin Commercial for OVO – Power Struggle, an impactful visual thriller for the green energy brand OVO. The piece, produced with Saatchi & Saatchi, combines SFX and puppets to narrate the story of a man haunted by possessed appliances, deploying a cinematic atmosphere that left the jury impressed.

On the other hand, Lope Serrano won the Best Idea award at Conero Film + ADV for La Causa del Accidente que Provocó el Incendio (The Cause of the Accident that Caused the Fire), a short film produced for ICEX and Audiovisual from Spain. The work reflects, in a metafictional key, on the creative crisis of a young director, intertwining reality and imagination to the rhythm of Manuel de Falla’s Ritual Fire Dance. Furthermore, the filming stood out for its sustainable approach, applying practices such as 100% renewable energy consumption, elimination of plastics on set, eco-materials, and prioritizing train travel over air travel, demonstrating that creativity and sustainability can go hand in hand.

Two achievements that reaffirm CANADA’s talent and the international relevance of our associated production companies.

Somos5 win two new awards celebrating creativity and social impact

This time we celebrate two very special awards: Impulse for Samsung with Cheil agency, which won a Bronze, and Yo soy español for Unoentrecielmil with Pingüino Torreblanca agency, awarded with a Gold in Production and an additional Silver.

These recognitions not only highlight the technical and creative quality of the productions but also their ability to generate positive change. Especially, Yo soy español (I am Spanish) underscores the transformative power of advertising with a message that deeply connects with society and contributes to improving the lives of many people. These awards remind us that behind every piece there are stories, commitment, and a lot of talent.

Antiestático wins big at the Creativepool Awards with “Breaking Glass”

Our associate production company Antiestático shone at the 2025 Creativepool Awards, taking home a total of seven awards. Its short film Breaking Glass, created for Scandinavian Airlines, became the star of the show, receiving the Grand Prix in Production, as well as awards in Photography (People’s Choice and Silver), Digital Advertising (Silver) and Branded Content (Silver).

Added to these achievements are two individual awards that consolidate the talent of its directors: Jeremi Durand was named Director of the Year, while Nicolás Bori received the People’s Choice award in the same category.

Breaking Glass tells the inspiring story of a young woman who, in the 1950s, challenged rigid gender roles to pursue her dream in aviation. Based on real testimonies from pioneers of commercial aviation, the project stood out as a production of great technical and artistic complexity, with historical scenes, vintage aircraft and impeccable recreation work.

With these awards, Antiestático reaffirms its position at the forefront of international advertising production and demonstrates that the combination of narrative, historical rigour and technical excellence continues to make a difference in the industry.
