As part of #FairTenders, we share La Fede’s point of view and advocate for equitable processes with clear objectives
From APCP, as members of La Fede and strong advocates of the #FairTenders platform, we fully share their vision: for a tender to be truly fair, it must have clear conditions, comparable rivals, and transparency throughout the process.
Knowing who else is participating does not mean asking for an advantage, but rather knowing if you are competing in the right arena. This information allows for evaluating the fairness of the process, avoiding imbalances, and better adjusting the proposal. Competing blindly, without knowing the profile of the other participants, can lead to investing efforts in a process that makes no strategic sense.
When very different profiles are called for the same challenge —production companies, agencies, or consultants with disparate structures and specialties— the problem is not with the participants, but with the briefing’s approach. Knowing whether a creative boutique, a large network, or a comprehensive solution is sought is a decision that must be made before launching the tender.
From APCP, together with La Fede, we defend the need for tenders with defined objectives and equitable conditions. Because only with clear rules and respect for the work of all participants will we be able to build a more professional, transparent, and competitive sector.
