Concursos Justos: The #ConcursosJustos platform will hold its first event next May 27 at 10.00h in the Auditorium of the University of Innovation and Technology-UDIT. Under the title ‘Relationships that work, contests that inspire’, the event will be attended by representatives of the 5 associations that are currently part of the project: APCP (Association of Advertising Film Producers and Post-producers of Spain); AEAPS (Spanish Association of Advertising and Health Communication Agencies); AEVEA (Associated Spanish Event Agencies); ADC (Association of Communication Consultants) and FEDE (Association of Communication Companies), as well as advertisers and other industry professionals. - El Ojo de Iberoamérica has opened its Early Bird Registration System (SIA) for the 2025 edition, allowing agencies, production companies, and creative professionals to secure their participation with exclusive benefits. The festival will be held on November 12, 13, and 14 in Buenos Aires. Early bird registrations offer discounts of up to 20% and allow deciding which pieces to present from June onwards. Additionally, the BOOK format is maintained, offering preferential rates for volume and automatic access to awards such as El Ojo +Women and Best Country Idea of El Ojo Local. The early bird registration process will be open until May 30th.
- The Immortal Awards 2025 have opened their call for entries, accepting works until September 5, 2025. The competition is free for Little Black Book (LBB) members, allowing Standard and Premium members to submit up to five projects, and Basic members up to two. The works will be evaluated in local, regional, and global rounds, with the winners announced in January 2026. To be eligible, the pieces must have been published between September 1, 2024, and August 31, 2025. More information on their website.
- The AICP Next Awards 2025 ceremony will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd at The Times Center in New York City, as part of AICP Week. Among the confirmed speakers are Judy John, Global Chief Creative Officer of Edelman and jury president for this edition, as well as recognized figures such as Rei Inamoto (I&Co), Kat Friis (Meta), Lauren Greenfield (Institute), Nick Law (Accenture Song), Gerry Graf (SlapGlobal), and David “Shingy” Shing, among others. The week will also include screenings at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and will culminate with a gala on June 5th at the same museum.
- Within the framework of the upcoming El Sol festival, See It Be It (SIBI), the renowned Cannes Lions initiative to promote female creative talent, will be held for the first time in Spain. This edition, organized by Más Mujeres Creativa and El Sol, will offer one-to-one mentoring between creatives and prominent figures in the sector such as Gabriella Teixeira, Munia Bilbao, and Alfonso Marian. The activity has the support of Scopen, Cannes Lions, and the Círculo Creativo Argentina.
