Luna Esquerdo, Cristóbal Garrido, and Diego Núñez Irigoyen will discuss the creative processes of an audiovisual project.

In the Advertising Film Production Activities that the APCP organizes within the framework of the Malaga Festival, there is also space for fiction, its relationship with advertising, and the processes involved.

This time, the seventh edition of this event will culminate in a round table with the participation of Cristóbal Garrido (screenwriter and creator), Diego Núñez Irigoyen (director), and Luna Esquerdo (executive producer and partner of Bambina), who will be the moderator. Under the title “Let’s Talk About Fiction and Advertising,” the three will discuss the different processes that constitute the creation of an audiovisual project, drawing on their extensive experience.

Cristóbal Garrido is a film and television screenwriter. Together with Adolfo Valor, he has written the comedies “Lo dejo cuando quiera,” “Amor de Madre,” “Eres tú,” and “Promoción Fantasma.” In television, he has been the creator and executive producer of the series “Reyes de la Noche,” “Días Mejores,” and “La Vida Breve”; as well as script coordinator of series such as “Fariña,” “Velvet,” and “Bajo Sospecha.”

Diego Núñez Irigoyen directed the series “La Vida Breve,” created by Cristóbal Garrido and Adolfo Valor, which premiered in 2025 on the Movistar platform. As an advertising director, he has been awarded at the most prestigious festivals in the world, winning more than 20 Lions at the Cannes Lions Festival, as well as Golds at the Clio, D&AD, Wave, FIAP, and the Grand Prix at El Sol de San Sebastián. He was named Best Director of Ibero-America and Best Director of Argentina at the El Ojo de Iberoamérica Festival.

Luna Esquerdo has been immersed in the first fiction projects from Bambina. Her professional career began in 2001 at the production company Got Film, and during these years she has had the opportunity to work in leading advertising production companies such as RCR Films, CANADA, and Primo. In January 2021, she founded the production company Bambina with Javier Ruiz Caldera, with whom they have worked for Tarradellas, Atlético de Madrid, Pikolin, and Damm. Specializing in acting work and storytelling, she has directors such as Alberto Rodriguez, Gabe Ibáñez, Elena Martín Gimeno, Alex Sardà, and Dani de la Orden, among others.
