Production Activities: Palma Pictures / Rewriting the Script

The service production company will share its experience and how they made the leap to fiction.

APCP production companies go beyond advertising, dedicating themselves to other sectors such as fiction, music videos, documentaries… In this VII Edition of the Advertising Film Production Activities of the APCP at the Malaga Festival, we exemplify this through the “We’re not just advertising” section, where Palma Pictures will share how they rewrote their own script and made the leap to fiction.

This will be done by Yousaf Bokhari, Head of Film and TV Production at Palma Pictures, a leading production service company in Spain. With more than 40 years of experience in the audiovisual industry, Yousaf has worked as Assistant Director, Production Manager and Line Producer on numerous Spanish and international projects filmed in Spain.

Palma Pictures, founded in 1993, operates from its headquarters with studios in Mallorca, and offices in Barcelona, Tenerife and production teams in Madrid and Malaga. The company offers comprehensive production services throughout peninsular Spain, the Balearic and Canary Islands, and has extensive experience in managing Spanish tax incentives for the audiovisual sector.

Under his leadership, Palma Pictures has participated in a wide variety of renowned projects, including: The Night Manager (Ink Factory / BBC), The Crown – Seasons 3, 4, 5 and 6 (Left Bank Pictures / Netflix), White Lines (Left Bank Pictures / Netflix), Hanna – Seasons 1 and 2 (Working Title / Amazon Studios) and The Mallorca Files – Seasons 1, 2 and 3 (Clerkenwell Films / Amazon). Other notable productions include Culprits (Character 7 / Disney+), Pathaan (Yash Raj Films), Den of Thieves 2: Pantera (Eone/Lionsgate) and Blade Runner 2099 (Alcon Entertainment / Amazon Studios).
