We reaffirm our environmental commitment by measuring our impact hand in hand with CREAST

The Association of Advertising Film Producers (APCP) once again demonstrates its dedication to the environment by offsetting the carbon footprint generated during the XII Conference on Advertising Film Production, held last December in Valencia. In collaboration with CREAST, the APCP measured and analyzed the CO₂ emissions of the event, subsequently implementing specific actions to neutralize them.

According to the report, the total carbon footprint of the event was 5.8 T of CO2eq. To counteract this impact, the APCP carried out the planting of six trees in collaboration with Saving the Amazon, an initiative that is estimated to capture approximately 6.6 tons of CO₂ over a period of 20 years.

In addition to direct compensation, the APCP implemented sustainable measures during the event, such as the use of biodegradable materials and the rental of electronic equipment, with the aim of reducing emissions from planning to execution of the event.

This effort is part of a broader APCP strategy to promote sustainable practices in the advertising film industry, demonstrating that it is possible to organize large-scale events with a reduced environmental impact.

With these actions, the APCP not only mitigates its ecological footprint, but also sets a precedent for future productions and events in the sector, underlining the importance of sustainability in the audiovisual industry.
