The affected areas are receiving your support thanks to the initiative of the APCP, in coordination with Cuchara de Palo, Rolling, Ava, Vagabond, and Fesbal.
Following the Association’s successful call to action,Rolling, Ava and Vagabond have taken all the material, tools and food that you have donated to Valencia.
Up to five work teams led by the associated production companies and sponsors of the APCP have been in charge of the transport from the points set up in Madrid and Barcelona. The first team travelled to Paiporta and Catarroja with water pumps on Wednesday 1 November, where they helped to pump water until last Sunday.
A second convoy made up of a lorry and a van arrived in Algemesí on Thursday to unload the material in neighbouring faults. After unloading, the van distributed the material with the help of the young people. This team was increased with more vans the following days to distribute the materials from the Cuchara de Palo warehouse in Valencia. This time, again with the help of the young people, solidarity was distributed in the villages of Albal, Lugar Nuevo de la Corona, Catarroja and Paiporta. Their work continued with the emptying of a garage on Saturday and the distribution of more material in Paiporta.
The third team moved to Catarroja on Thursday night to collaborate with the army in the removal of debris throughout the days of the operation. A fourth team joined on Saturday to distribute in the areas of Algemesí and Paiporta, a task which was joined by the fifth team on Monday 11th and which is expected to remain in the area until Sunday 17th.
From the APCP we would like to thank the indispensable collaboration of our associated producers and sponsors, as well as your immense solidarity with the Valencian people.
