15/10 | APCP Festival

Last days to get Early bird tickets

Early bird tickets for the Commercial Film Workshop of the Spanish Association of Advertising Film Producers (APCP), which will take place on the 7th and 8th of November, where the city of Valencia will once again become the largest meeting point for advertising film in Spain, can be purchased until the 15th of October. The sale of discounted general admission tickets is available through the following link, and the rest of the tickets will be available for purchase at a later date. Every year, the Commercial Film Workshop is the perfect place to meet with industry professionals, share and discuss current challenges and opportunities, as well as explore new trends and technologies that are shaping the future of the industry. The event is organized by APCP in collaboration with Valencia City Council, Valencia Film Office, Valencia Turisme and Film Valencia, highlighting the commitment of local authorities to the development of the audiovisual sector.

24/10 | Eficacia Awards

2024 edition of one of the most popular awards in Spain

The Eficacia Awards were created in 1997 to respond to a common need in the advertising sector: to recognise the contribution of commercial communication to the achievement of the business objectives of advertising companies. Organized by the Spanish Association of Advertisers (aea) and with the strategic advice and organization of SCOPEN, the Effectiveness Awards have a clear differentiating factor: they reward and recognise a job well done by the advertiser’s team and the agency. The Effectiveness Awards are the only awards in Spain that focus on results achieved thanks to the communication action (notoriety, sales or other types of profitability), and place effectiveness as the true aim of advertising activity.

29/10 – 10/11 |  Films by Women · Madrid

New edition of the festival that gives visibility to the work of women in the industry.

The Cine por Mujeres Madrid Festival is an international feature film festival that has been held annually in Madrid since 2018. Its main objective is to give visibility to the work and point of view of women in film creation and the film industry. It is aimed at all types of audiences, but pays special attention to future generations, in order to offer female references that drive changes towards real equality. The Festival is promoted by women and men who seek to enrich culture with a diverse and plural viewpoint, thus contributing to reducing gender inequality in the film industry. It recognises the ability of women directors to explore a wide range of themes and styles, without restrictions based on gender bias, where women are not limited to stereotypical roles. In short, it is a festival of films made by women, not for women, nor of women, as such a film category does not exist.

First film and advertising festival

At Publificción they maintain that brands can find a niche in the new audiovisual ecosystem; that it is possible to promote a product or service through quality content and with a message that connects with people.
