Preview: Report on the Economic Impact of Advertising Film Production in Spain

Once again this year, the APCP, together with Scopen and the sponsorship of Madrid Film Office, in collaboration with Alia and the Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM), are promoting a new edition of the Report.

During this year, a new study is being developed, taking as a reference the production of the audiovisual advertising film industry in the year 2023, which is aimed at both members and non-members of the association. In this sense, the Economic Impact Report on Advertising Film Production in Spain, which is published every two years, takes into account six key indicators when analysing the market: turnover, destination of turnover, economic activity generated, volume of staff hired, estimated investment (during the year of the study), and equality policies. In this way, it will be possible to take an updated dimension of the relevance of the economic impact of advertising film production in Spain.

The data provided by the surveys carried out by the advertising production sector are currently being analysed, and the results are expected to be presented by the end of this year.

In short, the aim of the research is to produce a report that reflects the economic volume of advertising film production in our country and thanks to it, the sector will have the necessary information to negotiate improvements and solutions with the public administrations.
