With more than three decades of dedication, EPC (Equipos Profesionales Cinematográficos S.A.) founded by Eduardo Pérez Climent, has established itself as a fundamental pillar and unquestionable leader in the Spanish film industry. During all this time they have forged solid relationships with key multinational companies in the market such as ARRI, SONY, ZEISS, COOKE, VANTAGE, LEITZ, KODAK, O’CONNOR, RONFORD and many more.
EPC is the exclusive agent of PANAVISION Cameras & Lenses for the whole national territory.
EPC currently has physical branches in Madrid, Malaga and the Canary Islands, providing service throughout the country for both national and international projects. To emphasize the wide range of camera equipment, both digital and 35mm and S16mm, as well as newly acquired and Vintage lenses. As for the GRIPs department, EPC has the largest number of SCORPIO cranes from 45′ to 10′, stabilized heads, Fisher Dollies and the KAIMAN base (4 x 4 motorized vehicle for SCORPIO CRANES).
This year EPC has joined other companies in the industry as a sponsor to make possible the sponsorship of APCP at CANNES LIONS 2024, which will take place at LBB Beach, Croisette Beach, from June 17 to 21.
EPC has forged strong relationships with several multinational companies. How has this network of collaborations benefited the company?
After so many years of relationship with all these companies, we have developed a bond of very high trust, updating the equipment according to the market needs and with constant feedbacks. We have also established commercial relationships with other Rentals at European level in order to be up to date and give the best service with the fastest response to all types of productions.
What factors do you think have contributed to EPC’s consolidation as a fundamental pillar in the Spanish film industry?
A 24-hour service, 365 days a year, dedicated to responding to the needs of each project. Together with one of the best technical and professional teams in the industry and having been able to transmit that confidence to all our customers and suppliers.
Also the constant acquisition of new equipment to be up to date in cameras, optics and GRIP material.
How does EPC handle logistics to service both national and international projects?
In terms of logistics, we are always prepared to respond immediately to any need and situation that our clients may have.
What advantages do you offer nationally and internationally compared to other companies in the sector?
We return to the type of service and the quality with which the equipment is supplied, always on time and in perfect condition. THERE IS NOTHING MORE IMPORTANT THAN A RODDING and this has been the case for the last 30 years.
What does it mean for the company or what do you hope to achieve with your presence at Cannes Lions 2024?
To strengthen our relationship with the APCP and with the production companies that year after year place their trust in us. And that we have a meeting point where we can listen to the concerns of the advertising film production industry.
What are the future plans for EPC in the film industry?
To continue maintaining and improving the bonds of trust with both our suppliers and clients as we have been doing so far. Acquiring new equipment so that audiovisual productions are produced with the best possible image quality.
