FASHION VS. WORDS is a fascinating documentary that explores the profound interplay between fashion and words as forms of human expression. People find different ways to communicate their identity, thoughts and emotions and this film is a revealing journey through the worlds of fashion and language, exploring how these two seemingly distinct forms of expression intertwine and influence each other.

Through the captivating gazes and narratives of our protagonists, photographer David Gomez Maestre and fashion designer Karim Aducchi, along with the verses of Caterina Albert, Victor Català, we unravel how fashion is not just a set of garments, but a statement of intent and a way of communicating a message to the world. And words, in turn, whether in the form of folk narrative, literature, verse or inspiration play a crucial role in individual and collective expression.

As the film progresses, we observe how fashion and words can empower people and generate meaningful dialogues. We will go on a journey from Morocco to Amsterdam through Catalan lands and Castilian traditions, an inspirational journey.
