  • Don’t miss “Madrid and the future of the audiovisual sector”!

As part of Madrid Open City, the international conference “Madrid and the future of the audiovisual sector” will be held on 1 March.

It will deal with the most relevant issues for the industry and its further evolution. According to the organisers, they will talk about the “challenges, opportunities and talent of the audiovisual industry in the Madrid region”.

It will be held in the WPP auditorium, in Ríos Rosas. The event will be broadcast via streaming.

  • Find out all the news about the Malaga Festival.

During this week new details have been presented about the next edition of the Malaga Festival, which will be held from 10 to 19 March 2023.

Among them, the films that will form part of the official selection (including Matria by Álvaro Gago and Sica by Carla Subirana) and which will compete for the Golden Biznaga.

In addition, Peru will be the guest of honour during the event.

  • Who will be on the Gerety Awards Executive Jury 2023 for Madrid?

A few weeks ago Gerety Awards published who will form the Madrid Executive Jury this year: The Grand Jury includes global leaders and the face-to-face executive jury sessions will take place this year in Bogotá, Chicago, London, Stockholm, Madrid, Bucharest, Berlin, Dubai, Mumbai and a joint Australia/New Zealand session.

From this global jury, we must highlight Irene Nuñez Palma, who will be part of the executive jury in Madrid; being associated to the APCP with the production company Garlic.

  • The AIPC Awards introduce a new category.

On the occasion of the AIPC Awards and specifically in the AICP Post Awards, the organisation presents a new category: Game Cinematic.

As the awards explain, it will “reward excellence in gaming advertising”. In addition, they add that “the elaboration of 2D promotional work, pre-rendered CG or rendered in real time for a video game” will be specifically valued.
