El Sol renews its brand as part of the set of actions that are being carried out to fill the festival with light. The aim with this new image is to transform the brand, elevate and modernise it, bringing a simplicity that transports us to the pure essence, the solidity, the colour, the light of El Sol. The new image reflects all the decisions that make the 37th edition of the festival a turning point to build something better.
The new design transmits the sun’s capacity to radiate and attract, through a set of concentric and irregular spheres in constant movement. This is the new image of El Sol, the circle of circles or the sun of suns that includes all the markets and identities to continue celebrating talent and the best Ibero-American creativity on 8 and 9 June in Malaga.
Thus, El Sol returns with more strength, new destination, Malaga; new image; new section, taking the first step to reward creativity applied to generate a real and measurable transformation in society and the planet. Creativity has the capacity to change the world, to innovate in order to exceed expectations and respond to today’s needs and concerns.
In this context, El Sol in collaboration with UnLimited Spain, a foundation that promotes a systemic change in business culture, launches a new section on Sustainable Development that seeks to recognise and reward ideas, actions, organisations and agencies that generate a positive impact on the world. Both entities are committed to recognising the work of organisations that, through their messages or actions, actively and sustainably contribute to improving society and the environment.
According to Manuel Lencero, CEO of UnLimited Spain: “Nowadays, companies seeking to generate a benefit for society or the environment, in addition to making money, still clashes in some sectors. El Sol is aware that the future of all companies lies in creating a real and sustainable transformation. We are very proud that they count on us to reward these organisations”.
The new section has two categories, Business with Impact Award, large, medium and small companies whose purpose is to generate a positive impact on society and/or the environment, being as important as economic profitability; and Brand Purpose Award, campaigns or actions that use creativity to encourage and produce changes in the attitude, perception or behaviour of society through a brand, with the aim of achieving a positive impact on the world.
