From an early age we are told that we have to take life with humour, and the truth is that it is often better to laugh. When you laugh, life smiles at you, and comedy is a genre that makes the good humour of others grow. This is how Inés de León has come to make projects on the big screen.
The filmmaker is a renowned Spanish director, actress and publicist, who has carried out multiple projects throughout her life, but always with two facets in mind: comedy and cartoons.
Since childhood, Inés set out on the road to the world of cinema, making her own films at home. Through this, she grew up and continued writing, until she took the leap and showed her work to the world. The first film she directed was “¿Qué te juegas?”; a comedy starring Amaia Salamanca, Leticia Dolera and Javier Rey. In it we can see several aspects, which focus not only on humour, but also on animation.
Last year she released the film “A todo tren 2”, which she directed and in which she also acted. In many scenes, we can notice that the actors exaggerate their roles and draw so much attention to themselves that they look like cartoons.
During the 5th edition of the Malaga Film Festival’s Advertising Film Production Activities, we will have the chance to meet this great professional and learn how, on many occasions, cinema and advertising come together.
