- Closing Ceremony of the 5th edition of the Film by Women in the Madrid Film Festival
The Closing Ceremony of the 5th edition of the Film by Women of the Madrid Film Festival will be held on the 5th of November (Saturday) at 19:30am at the Palacio de la Prensa in Madrid.
During the event, the following awards will be presented:
- Best 2022 Spanish Film of the Film by Women of the Madrid Film Festival, awarded by members of the Asociación Premios Blogos de Oro, to one of the 10 films in the “Spanish Women Filmmakers Competition”. Consists of €3,000 in film equipment rental discounts courtesy of RC Service, plus a 12 Lite phone, courtesy of Xiaomi Iberia.
- Best 2022 Film at the Film by Women of the Madrid Film Festival, awarded by the International Jury, made up of actress Irene Escolar, Argentinian Director Ana Katz and Director Víctor García León, to one of the 10 films in the “International Competition”. It consists of the colour correction in 4K of the next feature film of the winning director, with the use of the Místika digital cinema room of Free Your Mind for 3 weeks, valued at 30,000€; the creation of a Digital Cinema Package in the original version with Spanish subtitles by the company Subtitula’m, valued at 1,000€; and a 12 Lite phone, courtesy of Xiaomi Iberia.
The awards ceremony will be followed by the Madrid premiere, courtesy of Vértigo Films, of the feature film ‘Emily’.

The Premis Impacte 2022 have arrived, valuing “the positive impact generated by the advertising, marketing and corporate communication actions of professionals, brands, agencies, media, martech companies and institutions in Catalonia”.
The Ceremony was held on the 3rd of November, from 9am to 2pm; and during the day professionals dedicated to various aspects related to advertising gave conferences about topics like new technologies or the impact of campaigns or investment.

El Ojo de Iberoamérica is just around the corner (9th, 10th and 11th of November). The event, “the first international festival with a Latin approach to creativity, communication and entertainment”, has been introducing its finalists, which were gradually published at the end of October.
Specifically, the last to be announced are those in the categories El Ojo Design, El Ojo Digital and Social, El Ojo Film and El Tercer Ojo. You can find out about all the finalists, as well as the programme and the professionals who will attend the conferences on their website.

FOCUS 2022 will take place on 6 and 7 December. This is an event which, as announced by the organisers, has been introducing more and more professionals who will be taking part in the planned conferences.
Known as “The Meeting Place for International Production”, this event promises to be the perfect occasion to reflect on the industry, to network and to learn about the latest news in production, as well as the latest innovations in the field.
