A few months ago Madrid became home to the CFP-E European Assembly, hosted by the APCP in collaboration with Film Madrid and Madrid Film Office, who helped us with the organisation of the meeting as well as to find two impressive spaces to hold it.
The assembly took place in the Salón Real of the Casa de la Panadería in Plaza Mayor.
Some of the issues that were discussed are:
– The actualisation of the Universal Principles for the hiring of audiovisual advertising production from the European web and the AICP (USA).
– The pitch processes.
– Production memory and contract. Regarding this, we have manifested in representation of Spain that we are working with the Agencies and Advertisers Association, achieving great results and progress.
– The carbon footprint’s algorithm for budgetary estimation, agreeing on the importance of possessing a certification seal and a carbon footprint calculator que works in accordance with our activities.
– The boost of the ‘CFPe brand’ at European level, strengthening it and reaching the European public bodies to give more value to our job as a web.
Another important event that occurred during the assembly was the farewell to Tony Petersen (Germany), who had been leading this web for more than 6 years and was giving rise to a new government model.
As a novelty, a chartered government composed of 5 countries was elected: Germany, France, Greece, Italy, Ireland and the UK.
