This last 28th March the APCP handed a document intended to offer suggestions of amendments for the draft of the Law about Cinema and Audiovisual Culture.
This draft aims to organise the cinematographic and audiovisual activities in Spain, meaning, all activity related to production, distribution and exhibition of audiovisual projects. As you can already imagine, the purpose of the draft is to leave behind the strict concept od cinema to expand its regulations scope to a more global concept of audiovisual creation, due to its increasing relevance in the Spanish culture, economy and society. It is in this context that, from the APCP, we consider it necessary to let the Government know the need and relevance of regulating and promoting advertising films, particularly the promotional audiovisual productions, in this new regulation frame, together with the rest of the sectors focused on the production and distribution of audiovisual content.
