APCP has recently signed a collaboration agreement with the Aula de Cine Collection Josep M. Queraltó Foundation in which both entities have agreed to collaborate in different cultural and educational activities related to cinema and audiovisuals and the defence of the technical part, participating, for example, in conferences, exhibitions, screenings, etc.
APCP is committed to give institutional support to those initiatives carried out by the foundation that can make possible the creation of an international reference museum space within the Spanish territory, based on the Josep M. Queraltó Collection, a fundamental tool for the dissemination, protection and respect of audiovisual culture and education, being of great importance to preserve this Collection.
The foundation was created by Josep M. Queraltó, coming from the exhibition sector, in Barcelona, on July 6th 2010, after more than 35 years of preserving and collecting cinematographic and audiovisual material. It has two main objectives: the defence of the cinematographic technique and the creation of an interactive and educational museum space for all audiences in Europe formed by the Josep M. Queraltó Collection, made up of more than 20,000 pieces, currently one of the most important private collections in Europe.
