Manuel García, founder and executive producer of The Brownie Film Co, introduced Roberto Sacristán, CEO of Aluzine and president of ALÍA.
Aluzine is in the midst of its transition to becoming greener, for which they brought a presentation of the most sustainable lighting system on the market, the Cine Reflect Lighting System from The LightBridge.
After Roberto’s presentation he gave way to Raquel Sacristán, director of photography, who was in charge of explaining this novelty in lighting.
This technique consists of reflecting light around the set using panels that provide more or less diffusion and other unique light qualities, depending on the panel you use.
CRLS reflectors: The Light Bridge (Cine Reflective Light System) is a unique and innovative set of reflectors developed by Jakob Ballinger, head of lighting and cinematographer Christian Berger.
This system allows all types of light sources to be reflected, thus recovering the intrinsic qualities of natural light with a loss of only 3% of brightness; without altering its tint and colour. This system provides control of the direction, intensity, focus and distribution of light, allowing it to be sculpted as the creator desires.
The precision control of brightness and shadows offered by this lighting method can be used in all film genres, recreating the impression of natural light.
This makes it possible to dispense with much of the usual equipment, resulting not only in significant savings, but above all a gain in time and efficiency due to its ease of use.
